NDP EMS offers American Heart Association Hands-Only CPR training to churches, colleges, high schools, civic organizations and businesses. The goal of this course is to increase a bystander’s ability and willingness to help a person having a heart attack by initiating hand only CPR until help arrives. Bleeding Control Training
Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma. The more everyday people who know how to control bleeding in an injured person, the greater chances of surviving that injury. NDP EMS offers the American College of Surgeons’ Stop the Bleed course to churches, colleges, high schools, civic organizations and businesses throughout our service area. NDP EMS will bring an ambulance to your school, organization or event. Participants may tour the ambulance and observe demonstrations of the medical equipment on board. Our providers will also provide education about the role of EMS in our community and the role of EMS within our nation’s health care delivery system.
